Terms of Use

By downloading, installing, or using GetReel ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use GetReel for personal, non-commercial purposes on devices you own or control, subject to these terms and Apple's App Store Terms of Service.

2. What GetReel Does

GetReel is a bookmarking tool that lets you save links to publicly available reels from social media platforms. The App stores thumbnails and metadata locally on your device and opens reels in their original apps.

3. Third-Party Content

GetReel does not host, store, or distribute video content. All reels you bookmark remain on their original platforms and are subject to those platforms' terms of service. You are responsible for:

• Respecting the intellectual property rights of content creators
• Complying with the terms of service of Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X, and other platforms
• Using bookmarked content only for personal, non-commercial purposes

4. Subscriptions

GetReel offers optional in-app subscriptions ("GetReel Unlimited"). Subscriptions are billed annually through your Apple ID and auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date. You can manage subscriptions in your device's Settings. Refunds are handled by Apple according to their policies.

5. Cloud Backup

Subscribers may use our cloud backup feature to sync bookmarks across devices. Backups contain only metadata and thumbnails—no video content. We may delete backup data for inactive accounts or to comply with legal requirements.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to reverse engineer, modify, or create derivative works of the App
• Use the App to infringe on others' intellectual property rights
• Interfere with or disrupt our services

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

GetReel is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or compatible with all devices. Platform links may break if content is removed or platforms change their services.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of GetReel, including loss of data or content.

9. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to GetReel at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these terms or is harmful to other users or us.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We'll update the "Last updated" date below when changes are made.
