GetReel is designed with privacy in mind. We believe your data belongs to you, not us.

Data Collection

We do not collect any personal data. GetReel has no user accounts, no analytics, no tracking, and no advertising.

Local Storage

All your data stays on your device:

• Thumbnails and bookmarks are stored locally on your iPhone
• Your tags, preferences, and gallery metadata remain on-device
• Your optional sharing handle is stored locally and only shared when you choose to share a reel

Clipboard Access

GetReel reads your clipboard to detect reel links from supported platforms. This happens only when you open the app, and the clipboard content is processed locally. We do not store, transmit, or log clipboard data.

Network Requests

When you bookmark a reel, GetReel fetches a thumbnail from the platform. We do not log these requests or store any information about what you bookmark.

Third-Party Content

GetReel allows you to bookmark publicly available reels from social media platforms. Bookmarks open in the original app. You are responsible for respecting the original creators' rights and the terms of service of those platforms.

Data Sharing

We do not share any data with third parties because we do not collect any data. It's that simple.

Your Rights

Since all data is stored locally on your device, you have complete control. Delete the app and all your data is gone. Export your gallery anytime from Settings.
